ATTC provides Advanced training courses in Knee Surgery for orthopedic surgeons.
This 1-day cadaveric course, is indented for Orthopaedic Surgeons and Residents who seek to expand their knowledge and their expertise in different arthroscopic ACL reconstruction techniques.
The course comprises hands-on wet lab training at our fully equipped laboratories, with instruction on how to perform a state-of-the-art graft preparation for arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. Each instructor will perform a different technique of graft preparation demonstrating tips and pearls while discussing advantages and pitfalls of each graft. Arthroscopic ACL reconstruction would follow with all types of grafts giving a special attention to proper measurements, tunnel preparation and final fixation with a fixed button for HT, an adjustable button for quadriceps and interference screws for BTB.
3:1 trainee to cadaver specimen ratio.
Three trainees per specimen would perform the graft preparation of their choice and they would perform the subsequent ACL reconstruction technique under instructors’ supervision.
Tips for graft reinforcement (e.g. triple ST graft) and the Modified Lateral Extra-Articular Tenodesis (Lemaire technique) would be shown as well.
